Welcome, friends and family, to the Anzovin family baby registry. Before ushering you onward to the registry itself, we wanted to offer a few words about why we chose the items that are listed there, to help you with any non-registry shopping you might want to do.
Clothes: We are expecting our baby girl to arrive towards the end of January. That means that any clothing in newborn or 0-3 month sizes should be warm. We're also planning to get some outfits at the beginning in 3-6 month sizes, for her to grow into. We welcome secondhand clothing, preferring a high or all-cotton content for our little lady's comfort. I've heard that good deals on high quality clothes can be found at Target and on the Old Navy clearance racks.
Colors: The color scheme for the nursery (which is actually one side of our master bedroom) is similar to the color scheme for this web page: pale blue and cream (or unbleached cotton) with brown accents. It is a fairly gender-neutral choice, since we're not big fans of pink in this family, and you never know if the ultrasound gender prediction is correct ahead of time!
Organics: We're a fairly eco-conscious family, and not only are we planning to breastfeed, but we're going to mainly use cloth diapers, and we'd like to get as many items of clothing and bedding as possible in organic cotton, particularly those that will be against the baby's skin.
We're all very excited about our impending new arrival, and we thank you very much for taking the time to help us welcome her into our family! Without further ado, here is a link to our baby registry with AmazingRegistry.com.
